Oracle EBS implementation & support for large FMCG, pharma distribution business

Kāladi Consulting developed Oracle EBS-based applications, maintains and supports the web and mobile applications for WWCVL and FMCL.
Customer

World Wide Commercial Ventures Limited (WWCVL) is a pharmaceutical distribution outfit and is based in Matori, Lagos.

Business needs

WWCVL uses Oracle EBS R12 as the enterprise system. This included several web applications and a mobile application.

The complete server stack is deployed and hosted externally and the access is tightly controlled and routed via Firewall. SSL Certificate based secured connection to Oracle Production Server is enabled. The Oracle EBS Apache environment is enabled with latest JWS (Java Web Start) as it is recommended by all latest browsers for high end security compliance.

The email is outsourced and hosted in USA and again controlled vide firewall.
The infrastructure is accessed by WWCVL users across Nigeria as well as the users in Eco Health in Dubai, UAE.

The client needed a reliable partner to build add-ons and optimisations, manage and support their Oracle EBS applications.

Kāladi solution

For WWCVL, Kāladi helped meet functional requirements that cover import and local purchases, product costing, warehousing, sales order booking (entered in SFA and booked at the sales offices) and processing — picking, packing and dispatching, invoicing, financial accounting including AP, AR, GL, FA and cash management (CM).

We developed a whole range of reports, web and mobile based MIS applications and high-end analytics on cloud to provide the requisite information to senior management and operational teams.

A team of functional and technical consultants from Kāladi Consulting have been supporting the applications over the past 5+ years.
